my diaries during the Quarantine: DAY 7
Day 7
Hi everyone
When I chose to resort to the forest, and to stabilize here, I was expecting it would be a safe shelter, but it is clear that corona virus can reach many palces, therefore, it must be treated with severe caution.
After 9 days of quarantine, I will have to go to the city for shopping, we lack many things for making food. Even though I receive bad news about the town, day after day, it is announced that there is a new case has been diagnosed with the dreadful covid19.
They are all related to the same person, a retired man who was in a vacation in Europe and he returned to Morocco. He didn’t put himself in quarantine and he met many members of his family and friends, inside and outside the city. He transferred the infection to his elderly mother, and to his brother, his servant, to his girlfriend, and to the carpenter who made some works in his apartment. Day after day we hear that there is a new person infected by him has been discovered. I think he was the person responsible for the spread of the disease in my hometown. Because of him there were almost 60 infected people who are now in the hospitals.
Towards a city in these circumstances I went, even if I have used all precautions, I couldn’t get rid of a sense of doubt, I felt that all the surfaces carry viruses, people, street, trees and goods, because of that I wanted to return home at maximum speed.
I went to the city at 8 am, this is early In these conditions, I found that all the shops were closed, I was forced to wait for an extra hour , till a trader shop opened. I went towards his shop and I bought what I needed. I put the goods In the car, I started sterilizing It and my hand, I initiated a slow drive to meditate the city in the quarantine,
In fact, I expected to deal with policemen strictly and severe, although they are displaced in all the streets, no one of them stopped me, they didn’t ask for my extraordinary license for going shopping. Really driving in the streets free was very enjoyable, but I have to return to the forest quickly, if not because of the police and fear of the infection, I must return this time because of the rain that may come down at any moment, and that Is another story.
See you….
